One of the most thrilling summer adventures, Outlook Festival, shared its full schedule for this year's 10th edition of the festival. The abandoned mid-century Austrian Fort Punta Christo will seduce tens of thousands of fans from all over the globe ready to dive in the Adriatic sea and into the mix delivered by the world's best soundsystems.
Ghostface Killah of the mythical Wu-Tang Clan instantly makes a charming impression among the freshly-announced artists. The tireless nine of New York now have decades on stage and continue to to perform A-grade hip-hop music. Despite Wu-Tang not being in their hay-day during the last few years, Ghostface Killah will prove that the old dogs still have a lot to show. Hip-hop fans definitely won't have to worry as in addition to the Staten Island veteran, we also have Pharaohe Monch, Roots Manuva, Foreign Beggars, another veteran - Jehst, the unstoppable High Focus Crew and many more as the list goes on. Ad to that all the grime artists and we can be sure that all mics will be on fire during Outlook 2017.
Dubstep fans will be glad to hear the infamous Deep Medi crew almost in full, as well as the lead by Youngsta soldiers of Contact and Tempa. Plastician and Biome return to the festival, as well as many other old bass dogs. My Nu Leng and Chris Lorenzo are just a fraction of the younger artists, while the grime scene will welcome Levelz, Butterz and lots of more.
Randall, LTJ Bukem, Shy FX, Goldie, Calibre - a small part of the long list of vets on the DnB line-up. David Rodigan, Congo Natty, Kenny Ken, MC GQ, Fabio, Marcus Intalex, General Levy and many more, all of which are undisputed pillars when it comes to the development of drum and bass culture. Adding to that the names of numerous skillful and talented artists from the Balkan peninsula, we can easily say that the 175 bpm sound will be represented, once again, by the most respected artists that engage in it.
Needless to say, as you can possibly imagine, dub fans will also cherish to hear loads of pioneers associated with the root sound that dub music is at this Outlook festival. Mad Professor, Adrian Sherwood, Channel One Soundsystem, The Bug. What more can we ask for? Naturally, these are not the only dub artists on the line-up, but rather just a small bit of the generous list of names. Garage dinosaurs Zed Biass, Hatcha, live act mastermind Swindle, Amy Becker! Woah! The 10th edition of Outlook Festival will be absolutely phenomenal in terms of artistic presence! Let's not forget the solid roster of local artists, as well as the unmatched Opening Concert, described in our previous article.
