Started in December 2014, our Mix Series has reached its 50th edition. In order to celebrate the half-century of mixes, we invited the latest addition to Platform Music - KOROstyle. The French artist is one of the new names on the European bass scene, but he can already congratulate himself with the quality development of his career. Focused on the deepest styles of bass music, around 140 bpmo, Sadyr Diouf manages to create tracks of equally high quality in genres like grime, chillstep, future bass and many more.
In 2014 KOROstyle created the "Sai Sai" release for Section 8 Recordings which marked his powerful debut on the international dubstep scene. With the support of Joe Nice, TRUTH, Seven Mixmag, Gremlinz, Von D, ARtroniks and many more, it's obvious that the your Frenchman's skills are not going unnoticed and a successful development of his career would be in order. Several great releases for a plethora of labels followed until 2017, when his debut album "Korokat LP" is released. Filled with a great many sound experiments and a tangible bass might, the album is well received by the critics. The last release in the artist's catalogue is the "Free Me" EP for Platform Music, which was supported by UKF Dubstep, Keep Deep and many more audio and video channels. It is expected that the release will soon be available in vinyl as well, along with three other exclusive releases of the label for another French project - Kantyze.
The set is close to thirty minutes long and follows the artist's mood through saturated turns both in dynamics and in genres. Among tracks and releases of accomplished artists such as Distance, Kromestar, Von D, Benga, Noisia, Commodo and Gantz, we can hear all three tracks of the "Free Me" EP for Platform Music.
