[Release] Prangman - Chamber EP (Migration Records)
Hailing from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, a proud heritage of electronic music has been ingrained into Prangman ever since he can remember. Much of his teenage years were spent rummaging through the racks at record shops, building a huge vinyl collection across multiple genres, and rubbing shoulders with the best of Leicester's underground DJ/producers at every opportunity. Honing his sound now for over a decade, Prangman has crafted his own unique flavour that blends elements of garage, house and UK bass music into one delicious cocktail.
Following on from his inaugural release 'Herschel' EP, on Migration back in 2015 he's been busy in the studio crafting some BASS HEAVY tunes that prove that this guy is not messing around. NexGen has picked four of his freshest cuts for the Chamber EP.
"Far Away" opens the EP with a pad filled stepper featuring vocals from Lyndsey Murray that will have your head and body bounding. Prepare to be taken by surprise though, as the back end of the EP is carrying some nasty sub bass punches, stabs and wobbly basslines. "Sonics," "Chamber" and "Kremlin" will drag you through a dirty world of dubstep wobs, breakbeats, syncopation and pure dark side bass filth.
