[Release] JUNE MILLER REWORK MANCHESTER’S HARDEST HIP HOP ACT ON GIMME THE MIC

“Every track Virus has ever laid down has been barbed with gritty realism.” – UKF

You know the drill by now. Manchester’s hardest hip hop act, pioneers of the early grime sound, collaborators with everyone from dubstep superstars to Cypress Hill’s DJ Muggs. Virus Syndicate have been pushing the musical envelope for quite some time. In keeping with their dark and inevitably grizzly musical outlook, the duo teamed up with Ram Records’ up and comers June Miller (it’s two Dutch guys, in case you’re confused by the name) for a killer rework of Gimme The Mic. This is a clash of the titans, make no mistake.

The original record premiered via Earmilk when it was released as part of the group’s Symptomatic album which dropped earlier this year. A big hit, made bigger by the addition of June Miller'incredible sound design and uncompromisingly heavy approach. Premiered earlier this week by Neurofunkgrid, the remix is available to buy and stream now.
