Let it Roll Winter 2016 @ Výstaviště Expo, Prague (26.02)

This year's Let it Roll summer edition brought loads of unforgettable feelings to the fans. More than 22 000 people occupied the festival's new home base - Milovice airport, giving the opportunity for a "new beginning" for the biggest summer Drum and Bass festival. Due to the fact that the previous location (Benesov) was no longer available the organizers were forced to make another step forward. Let it Roll returned bigger and stronger than ever with a record number of stages and artists and one extra night.

Let it Roll Summer is history. After a couple of events in Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and a tour across Europe, the festival's organizers are now preparing the latest winter edition of Let it Roll which will be conducted in Prague. On the 26th of February Výstaviště Expo, Holesovice, will host this stunning winter Drum and Bass tale. The event will be held in three huge halls, which will be named after the three big stages at the summer festivalFactory StageMadhouse Stage and Underworld Stage. Each of the rooms will be appropriately resounded and decorated , as far as the guests go- some of them have already been announced. An additional Chillout Arena will be available as well.

Factory Stage: The first names that popped up concerning this stage were Culture Shock and Tentrum Desire. Both of these projects often tend to experiment with sound. Their styles are constantly evolving which is typical for these representatives of the UK DNB scene. Another name from the UK was introduced - Shogun Audio's Technimatic, who have always been eminent representatives of the Liquid Drum and Bass sound.

Madhouse Stage: Initially, State of Mind and Xtrah joined this room. Afterwards, The Upbeats were also introduced to this stage. The latter guests who will take part at this hall are Mindscape & Jade. Looking at this lineup, we can see that the Madhouse will be more Neurofunk-oriented unlike the Factory, where we will be able to hear the softer end of DNB. Let's not forget that there are still some special guest and local artists that are yet to be announced and it is still hard to put labels on the different stages.

Underworld Stage: The Upbeats were among the artists we dearly missed at the summer edition of Let it Roll. Luckily, they will drop some gems on this year's winter bash . Another artist that was absent is Billain and he will also be one of the headliners at the Underworld Stage. Along with him we will be pleased to catch up with the Czech Hard Bass star Forbidden Society. The Russian twins Gancher & Ruin will be joining the party as well. Seemingly, the Underworld stage will be the hardest one but that will be cleared up in a couple of months when all artists will be announced.

Each year more than 5 000 fans visit the biggest Drum and Bass event in Europe. The three stages will welcome more than 30 leading artists from the Bass scene. The huge amount of visitors and the constantly growing lineup are among the traits underlining how big this festival has become over the years. The fest in Prague (both the summer and the winter one) offers low weed restrictions and cheep bear- another prerequisite for a good time in the Czech capital.
