Ed Rush - Ed Rush & Optical have since moved through three more critically acclaimed albums, ‘The Creeps’, ‘Original Doctor Shade’ and the incredible semi-live project ‘Chameleon’, all with their own individual styles and personalities. 2009 saw them tackle the release of their fifth long player, ‘Travel The Galaxy’ a project which once again proved them as true masters of their trade and many claimed was their best work since wormhole. The duo are currently working on their latest album a project which promises an eagerly awaited injection of that classic Virus future funk with a blend of today’s production techniques that will prove hard to resist.

Hybrid MindsComprising of Josh White & Matt Lowe, Hybrid Minds represent a musical force, with their melodic, soulful Drum and Bass . A synergy between influences including trip-hip, acoustic, soul and jazz, Hybrid Minds draw on a myriad of influences to produce the smooth sound they are known for.

DJ Zinc - Zinc produced and DJ'd as part of the Ganja Kru and True Playaz collectives, often in association with DJ Hype from 1996 to 2002. He ran the Bingo Beats record label, which released both drum and bass and breaks records from 2002 to 2008.

A-CrayA-Cray makes a success as a DJ, becomes a member of Touch the Jungle and thanks to Zenith Music and DJ Stantha he plays along with stars such as Alix Perez, or Mefjus. In early 2013, his songs appeared on labels like Syndrome Audio, Mindtech, IM:LTD.

Rido - In 2011 he went on to work with Black Sun Empire and released on their well respected Obsessions label, and shortly after came the link with the mighty Metalheadz. With friend Hybris, Rido produced ‘The Prague Connection’ EP for Goldie’s label which included the massive ‘Focus’, a solo 12″ shortly followed in the form of ‘Twisted’ b/w ‘Core’ and with more music for Headz and a remix for John B we think you’ll be hearing much more from Rido in 2012.

Optiv & BTKOptiv & BTK have had a large number of successful releases on the most fundamental of British labels, who are focused on hard DnB: Blackout Music, Playaz, Citrus, V Records, Dutty Audio, Shogun Audio, Renegade Hardware and the aforementioned Virus Recordings. Albums such as the incredible ‘Platinum Breakz’ compilation from the Metalheadz camp, and Grooverider’s legendary ‘Prototype Years’ album sucked him in and started him on a journey that would see him rise to the very top of the Drum & Bass scene.

Mefjus Mefjus is a producer hailing from Austria who's name has been amassing quite a following amongst the drum & bass hierarchy of late. Amongst a plethora of other young Austrian artists, Mefjus is the one that stands out and for good reason; his brand of jaw-dropping, proper tech-infused beats and bass is like no other and now as he teams up with Critical he looks set to hit the worldwide stage.

Rockwell Thomas Green – aka Rockwell - has without question been one of the most exhilarating talents to come out of the UK drum and bass scene in recent times, heralded by the music press as one of the most distinct artists working today. His incredible talent has seen him release on the likes of Digital Soundboy, Renegade Hardware, Critical and Darkestral, before signing exclusively to Friction’s Shogun Audio imprint.

Joe Ford his debut Shogun track 'Stride' already included on 2013's War Of The Warrior 2 compilation album and his second slammer ‘Instrument’ to come soon after, Joe's career looks sure to blossom throughout 2014 with more music to come and an ever-increasing DJ schedule, ensuring a new name on everyone's lips.
