Who are we?

Bass Blog by /DutZie/ is an amateur platform, whose aim is to inform it’s readers about everything interesting on the Bulgarian Drum & Bass scene.

The blog was founded in October 2014, but quickly became very popular in Bulgaria. The articles cover everything which is more interesting in the scenes of the genres DnB, Dubstep, Hip-Hop, Raggae and Hardcore in Bulgaria. We describe events, releases, present Bulgarian artists and musicians and give our own opinion, which we try to keep well written and adequate.

This year Bass Blog /by DutZie/ was confirmed as one of the official medias for the famous Let it Roll  Summer festival 2015. Our collective gave everything it had to inform it’s readers about everything interesting around the biggest drum & bass festival in Europe.

Who are Let it Roll?

Let it Roll Summer Festival is the biggest Drum & Bass festival in the world. Each year on its stages appear some of the most popular drum&bass artists on the planet. With each edition the audience  becomes greater In numbers. Thousands of people go to The Czech Republic to experience the emotion from the most exciting open-air event in the whole European calendar.

The story behind the festival dates back to the year 2003. At that time a Czech organization starts to promote Drum & Bass parties in different locations – like factories, castles and clubs. Gradually the fame of Let it Roll gets expanded and they decide its time to make something big. The first edition of the grand open-air is in 2008 in Staré Žďánice near Pardubice.Then the public was 3000 people. On the last edition in Beneshov (near Prague), the public reached more than 15,000.

Let it Roll Open Air 2015

In 2015 LiR Summer is going to be held between the 30th July and 1st of August near Prague. For the first time the festival is going to be 3 days long. On an enormous  area seven stages are going to be set up with their individual design. It is expected that more than 15,000 fans will have the chance to hear the biggest stars in the world and Czech scenes. The names of the participants are already announced and the tickets are sold with full throttle.

7 stages and more than 160 of the biggest drum & bass artists will cram into 3 days and nights of super-charged raving, all set off by the most impressive stage designs, light displays and firework shows around. It happens from the evening of Thursday 30th July till late morning of Sunday 2nd August in the venue of Airfield Milovice.


Milovice Airfield is about 25 km far away from the city of Prague. It is a massive ex-military airport outdoor area with no limits. It will be comfort for dancing, because the field is mud-less, dust-less and gravel-less. For the first year, the area allows the making of second outdoor stage. Train from the Czech capital leaves every half hour to the festival. The ticket costs 2-3 Euro.
